Abstract

This paper presents a review of the advances of inventory literature under permissible delay in payments since 1990s. The models available in the relevant literature have been suitable classified by the objective function that focuses only on the supplier’s or buyer’s performance or an integrated vendor-buyer inventory system. The motivations, extensions and generalizations of various models have been discussed. Finally, we conclude with suggestions for future research.
