Abstract

With the development of information technology, information media has penetrated deeply into the work and life of the public. The rapid development of digital government is promoted by the enhancement of information technology, which provides the public with a more convenient platform to participate in the management of public affairs and accelerates the process of social democratization, and also helps to improve the efficiency of the government’s public administration and make its work more convenient for the public. This paper uses questionnaires to collect the attitudes of different social groups towards participation in public affairs through the Internet, analyses the relevance of different factors on citizens’ participation in public affairs, and proposes relevant suggestions for optimising each influencing factor.
