Abstract:
Embedded systems are commonly built upon heterogeneous digital and analog integrated circuits, including sensors and actuators. Model-driven approaches for designing software and hardware have been proposed, yet they are generally limited to the digital parts of systems. This paper presents the extension of an integrated modeling and simulation tool for the verification and virtual prototyping of embedded systems described at different abstraction levels to analog/mixed-signal systems.
