Abstract

This paper’s aim is to pay attention to actuality of new information system development in a form of engaging and reflective ePortfolios. Main accent in the system is put on an encouragement of learners’ collaborative efforts in teams, activate their critical thinking and reflection, and as a result, achieve better learning outcomes and competencies. The author introduces experimental ePortfolio system prototype and its testing results in Living Lab environment in Riga Technical University. A notion of making ePortfolio system more reflective, interactive and intelligent brings further proposals of development additional artificial intelligence tools which might be embedded into the system.
