Accessibility Profiles - Measuring Vulnerability and Amendability of Transportation Network

Abstract

Potential-based Accessibility model has been extended with Accessibility Response Profile concept. AR Profile describes a response of a transportation network to changes occurring on a single link and accessibility is a measure of influence. Both vulnerability and amendability are captured with this approach. A subject of analysis may be whole network or any single node of the network. A software tool has been developed to compute AR profiles and data has been gathered. Further analytical procedures are needed.
