RELIABILITY ASSESSMENT OF E-COMMERCE APPLICATIONS

Abstract

The paper discusses a formal approach for specifying time-dependent E-Commerce applications and proposes a Markov model for reliability prediction. Measures for predicting reliability are calculated from the formal architectural specification and system configuration descriptions. Our methods have been implemented and a set of sample results obtained from it for a simple system is given.
