READABILITY METRICS FOR WEB APPLICATIONS ACCESSIBILITY

Miriam Martínez, José R. Hilera, Luis Fernández-Sanz

Abstract

In this work, an analysis of applicability of specific metrics to evaluation of understandability of web content expressed as text, one of the key characteristics of accessibility according to WAI, is presented. Results of application of metrics to check level of understanding of pages in English of different universities are discussed.
