Abstract

We introduced an Internet survey and analyzed driver’s psychosomatic state immediately before traffic incident by using 7 models of traffic accidents. We identified driver’s hasty is one of key factors which may result in traffic accidents. Aiming at the reduction of the number of traffic accidents, we studied to detect hasty state of a driver while driving by way of using the psychosomatic signals of a driver, which were heart rate and useful field of view. Finally we proposed a concept of a function for detecting driver’s states for an intelligent drive support system.
