Abstract

This paper looks into the Lebanese healthcare system and its readiness to care for a growing elderly population and how ICT is used and how it is perceived by the stakeholders. The paper presents concerns on ageing population in Lebanon. It first addresses the status of hospital infrastructure in the country, and then discusses some interviews regarding ICT plans with six general managers of large public hospitals in different regions of Lebanon.
