Abstract

Abstract: Recently, people’s interest on chemicals exposure increases because it greatly affects health condition. There are a lot of researches showing that chemical exposure disturbs the body system including a hormonal system that is called Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDC). Endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDC) refers to environmental chemicals that alter the function of endocrine of the endocrine system and consequently cause adverse health effect (in intact organism, progeny or population). This review explains two main points; namely: 1) Molecular mechanism of EDC on endocrine disruption especially estrogens. 2). Mechanism of metabolic disorder and cancer by EDC. This article is very important because mechanism of chemicals exposure on endocrine system disorder has not been much known. '
