Abstract

According to the minimum service standard decided by the government, the patient’s satisfaction is one of the indicators that should be noticed in giving service. Giving proper Post Natal Care (PNC) to the patients is one of the ways of giving satisfaction to the patients. Based on the previous research, it was obtained, among 10 postpartum mothers, some complaints about service, especially incomplete information. The research method was analytic with cross-sectional design. The populations were all postpartum mothers by using Simple Random Sampling technique, and it was obtained 50 respondents. Data collection about service and satisfaction were implemented directly by filling a questionnaire given to postpartum mothers. Data analysis used Spearman Rank. The result obtained was that those who received excellent service with very good satisfaction level were 18 respondents (36%). Based on the Spearman Rank, it was obtained that the value of Spearman Rank was as many as 0,699 with significance level of 0,000 which meant that there was a relationship between Post Natal Care (PNC) service and the level of postpartum mothers’ satisfaction with a strong relation level. Therefore, the better the service to postpartum mothers the more satisfied the respondents.
