Abstract

We present a new component model for creating next generation e-Business applications. These applications have two overriding requirements: (1) Ability to change the application behaviour quickly and easily in line with the fast-changing business conditions and (2) Seamless integration of people, process, information, and systems. Our new component model is built around the concept of Adaptive Business Objects, and fulfils both the above requirements. This paper describes this component model and demonstrates its use in real business solutions.
