FROM PLATO’S DUALISM TO USER INTERFACE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

Today, many devices are available, and they use different languages. From a user point of view, the system is its user interface, and this idea is used in this paper to provide a pattern-based design solution where platform independent and dependent levels are connected in a model-based user interface development and reflective environment. Platform independent and dependent levels have similarities with Plato’s dual view of reality.
