Abstract

This paper describes a methodology to establish behavior rules for conversational agents on commercial web sites. Our work is a contribution to a recent research field: agent mining (Cao, 2009) which results from two interrelated research area: Agent/Multi-agent system and Data Mining. The proposed methodology is based on behavior analysis of e-commerce clients and customers’ segmentation. Our proposal has been applied on a real commercial web site to construct the triggering rules of a virtual seller agent.
