Abstract

As one of the most important part of supply chain, the supply disruption has more influence than other disruptions. Once the supply disruption occurs, that may lead to serious consequences; even break the whole supply chain. This paper analyses the composition of supply risk, addresses an effective method to mitigate supply risk, i.e., dual-supplier or multi-supplier supply model. In order to choose suppliers for the whole supply chain, a mathematical model is developed and verified by a numerical example.
