Abstract

The induced current density and Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) in the skin around a Transcutaneous Energy Transmitter (TET) was analyzed. The considered TET was projected with serial resonant capacitor and had its efficiency, regulation and SAR optimized by a multi-objective genetic algorithm (MGA), considering a range of TET parameters. A surrogate approach (Kriging) was also used to model the objective functions and support the optimization with less computational cost.
