Foreword: This proceeding includes original and peer-reviewed research papers from International Symposium on Frontiers of Intelligent Transport System (FITS 2020), held on May 30-31, 2020 in Chongqing, China. FITS aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of intelligent transport system. It also provides a platform for academic scientists, research scholars, doctors, engineers, doctoral students and related professionals to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of intelligent transport and logistics. All authors and participants were kindly encouraged to contribute to and help shape the conference through submissions of their research abstracts, papers and posters. Due to COVID-19, FITS 2020 received only 87 manuscripts, and 13 submissions have been accepted by our reviewers. All submissions to the FITS 2020 were sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical and research content, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. The full paper submissions were chosen based on technical merit, interest, applicability, and how well they fit a coherent and balanced technical program. The committees of FITS 2020 invested great efforts in reviewing the papers submitted to the conference and organizing the sessions to enable the participants to gain maximum benefit. Hopefully, all participants and other interested readers could benefit scientifically from the proceedings and find it stimulating in the process. With our warmest regards, Zhibin You Wuhan, China (More)
