                Abstract:
In this present multidisciplinary work, measurements taken from source-code comparisons of practical assignments completed by students of computer programme are analysed and visually represented, and conclusions are drawn so as to gain insight into the situation and the progress of the group. This representation is compared with another one generated by conventional code metrics, and the scope and meaning of the results are assessed in each case. These analyses use various statistical and neural dimensionality-reduction techniques for sets of multidimensional data.
