Abstract:
A real-time database is a database in which both the data and the operations upon the data may have timing constraints. Our objective in this paper is to model easily real-time database structures using the Model-Driven Engineering paradigm, specially the UML2 language. For that purpose, we propose an UML2.0 profile, entitled UML-RTDB, which is based on UML2.O Profiles package, in order to cope with the specific need of designing
real-time databases.
