Abstract:
In the volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous (VUCA) world, robots should be able to adapt to different aspects of human life and create a positive impact. To achieve this, it is important to create and develop not only technically advanced but also, from a social point of view, adaptable, autonomous, creative, collaborative, and ethical robots. This paper introduces the concepts of Co-Creative Robotics and analyses the role of collaborative networks in advancing it. Alongside introducing technological dimensions of Co-Creative Robotics, the paper compares Co-Creative Robotics characteristics with computational creativity and traditional robotics. Finally, to support the advancement of this field, the authors investigated the role of different categories of collaborative networks for Co-Creative Robotics advancement.
