Abstract:
Rapid data integration has been a challenging topic in the field of computer science and its related subjects, widely used in data warehouse, artificial intelligence, biological medicine, and geographical information system etc. In this paper, we present a method of ontology similarity measurement in rapid data integration, by means of semantic ontology from high level perspective. The edit distance algorithm is introduced as the basic principle for ontology similarity calculation. A case study is carried out and the result shows that the presented method is feasible and effective.
