Abstract:
The aim of this research is to examine the implementation of eight national education standards at SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta. This research is a qualitative method by using primer and secondary data. The analyzing of data is using triangulation technique. Based on the assessment of indicators, the implementation of eight national education standards resulted the percentage of the success in implementation which is 82.26% including standard content is 91.67%, standard process is 85%, standard of graduate competence is 87.5%, standard of educators and educational personnel is 79.17%, standard of facilities and infrastructure is 91.67%, management standard is 78.47%, financing standard is 79.86%, the standard of assessment in education is 77.08%. The summary of the research is implementation standard as the best standard which has many contents as follows: graduate competence, process and facilities, and infrastructure.
