Abstract:
This paper presents a coordinated multi-view system consisting of visualizations for displaying customer behavior and activities in a shopping center environment based on indoor tracking information gathered by Bluetooth beacons. Different perspectives to find structures and hidden patterns within the data set are supported including different customer flow visualization methods based on actual floor plans as well as abstract flow graphs. These are linked and coordinated with Parallel Sets to gain insight into the specifics of the customer base and with different time-oriented visualizations to show and to compare the different periods of customer presence.
