Abstract:
In this paper, the concept of ontology-driven conceptual modelling is outlined where grounding a modular legal domain ontology in the unified foundational ontology UFO is overviewed. The domain ontology is modularized in four independent modules. The top ontology modules are discussed in this work: upper and core. The ontology modelling language OntoUML is used for the conceptual modelling process.
