Abstract:
We present in this paper a cooperation system based on ontologies. To integrate heterogeneous knowledge, an hybrid ontology is designed. Besides, in order to reach cooperation between local ontologies, a computer-aided system is offered to assist experts to build mappings between entities of different ontologies. An approach is described to capture ontology evolution. We define a relevant proposal relating to the geotechnical domain involving different businesses and willing to cooperate.
