Abstract
In the practice of business management, there is a pressing need for good information management instruments that can constantly acquire, monitor and analyze the early warning signals of business crises, thus effectively support decision makers in the early detection of crisis situations. With the development of advanced computing methods and information technology, there bring new opportunities for the construction of such instruments. In this paper, we proposed the use of business life cycle model as a larger framework of guidance for an early warning system of business crises. We also developed a framework for an intelligent agent based early warning system.
