Abstract

In this ever faster changing world, organisations are faced with the need to have flexible processes. This is only possible if these processes have full control over their supporting information systems, which we propose to embed into the business processes, in stead of a global, common enterprise information system. Therefore we are introducing a fifth stage in the architecture maturity model of Ross to implement these Embedded Information Systems.
