evaluate visual query languages has been carried
out. The proposed framework, architecture, model,
user interface and query processing have been
described using a tourist information system for
network and proximity analysis. We also suggest the
implementation of a prototype, the evaluation of the
framework as well as its user interface and
conducting usability testing and user testing to verify
the quality of the icons as well as the expressive
power of the iconic visual query language.
