MOTION BLUR ESTIMATION AT CORNERS

Abstract
In this paper we propose a novel algorithm to estimate motion parameters from a single blurred image, exploiting geometrical relations between image intensities at pixels of a region that contains a corner. Corners are significant both for scene and motion understanding since they permit a univocal interpretation of motion parameters. Motion parameters are estimated locally in image regions, without assuming uniform blur on image so that the algorithm works also with blur produced by camera rotation and, more in general, with space variant blur.
