Abstract
In this paper we describe how to completely develop a Multi-Agent System using the HABA Development Framework. We propose a variant of the GAIA methodology to reduce the gap between the abstract modeling of Multi-Agent Systems and their practical implementation. To achieve this goal, we reduce the scope of our methodology to a specific class of systems that we call Moderately Open Multi-Agent Systems. As an example, we use the implementation of a set of transactions for an electronic commerce system.
