Abstract
In recent years, there has been a growing interest to guarantee that health organizations make a suitable treatment and protection of the personal data with which they deal in their daily activity. The privacy of personal data is regulated by law in many countries and is considered an important issue in a number of Quality Standards. This paper presents a systematic method to make an audit of the privacy in health sector software based on Requirements Engineering (RE). The aplication and validation of the method is ilustrated in a operative tool of report and clinical record management in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a hospital.
