Abstract
The architecture of a custom originally designed FES system is described. The system is built from off-the-shelf and cusom components to obtain a target functionality. List of potential applications is provided. Some tasks have been already tested in laboratory and clinical conditions. Hardware specification of proprietary components is given and interfacing issues are addressed.
