Abstract
Information Systems (IS) of electricity distribution companies are often composed of various and heterogeneous applications or systems that need to exchange information. Distribution activities evolve in different contexts and environments, and the interoperability is a particular difficult task to realize for electricity distribution companies. A laws-based IS engineering approach is proposed in our research laboratory. Given the distribution activities are regulated by a legal framework, we propose to apply this approach to the electricity distribution domain.
