provements/updates(eg.: updating resource optimiza-
tions algorithms will not imply changes in applica-
tions). Applications can access higher level informa-
tion based on a model that derives its values from the
data on the sensor network.
Models, the mapping between sensor data and
model information and the optimization of resources
while meeting requirements are the main challenges.
Other issues like network topologies and service dis-
covery are also future work as the former will be re-
lated to resources and the latter with the ability to ac-
cess information in a plug-n-play architecture.
Experiments (healthcare and physical assessment)
will be undertaken at a future point to test the pro-
posed architecture.
