6 CONCLUSIONS
In this work we have introduced our approach for
providing support for children and hearing impaired
persons through multilingual multimedia
dictionaries employing video, and screen- and print-
based interfaces. We are planning to continue with
adding more sign language and lip reading resources
from different languages, expanding the story
coverage, and providing support for different
educational games and other activities.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
We express our gratitude to Andras Zentai for his
involvement in the development of the experimental
software and the preparation of the sample materials.
