Abstract
The project presents work carried out in a project funded by the German Ministry of Economy whose goal is to develop tools for information systems on the basis of high quality language technology and standard statistical methods. The paper shows how automatic indexation, automatic classification and information retrieval can be combined to efficiently create a high quality information processing system for expert knowledge in technical engineering.
