issues such as estimation, adaptation, stability, and
robustness, to name a few. Global complex systems
such as reduction of the external costs of negative
environmental impacts of the use of various energy
sources, mitigation of natural disasters, and
consideration of global warming in technological
planning, are prime areas where these networked
control systems methods could be beneficially
applied.
