Abstract

Introductory statistics courses at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna suffer from a very high number of participants. Correcting written tests is almost impossible because of a lack of personnel resources. As an alternative an online programme has been developed. It considerably reduces the time required by instructors and it seems to intensify the cooperation among students.
