will be by nature characterized as an Ultra-Large-
Scale (ULS) software system, where a ULS sys-
tem “is ultra-large in size on any imaginable dimen-
sion” (Pollak, 2006), like in the resulting number of
lines of codes, in the number of people employing
the system for different purposes, in the amount of
data stored, accessed, manipulated, and refined, in
the number of hardware elements (i.e. heterogeneity),
and finally in the number of possibly cooperating or-
ganizations. Therefore, future work will also include
the identification of further policies to help mitigate
ULS effects in V&V of FI choreographies.
