Abstract
In this paper, we proposed an advanced two-step motion estimation using adjustable partial distortion for fast motion estimation. We improve the two-step search by using relationship between neighboring and current block. The proposed algorithm is 187 times faster than FS and 2.7 times faster than TS-EPDS without negligible PSNR degradation. Therefore, it is suitable for real-time video implementation.
