and business convergence. The richness of data
available made it possible to draw a clear picture of
the challenges and opportunities MNOs face.
Although the specific issues were analysed in the
Italian context, it can be argued that it is reasonably
representative of most Western markets and, thus,
results and insights can be somewhat generalizable.
Evidently, explanatory and descriptive future
research will have to be conducted in order to
expand and validate the findings reported.
