Abstract
This paper proposes a Description Logics based data model of a real-time object-oriented database. It allows the modeling of structural and behavioral aspects related to the objects in a real-time database. This model provides designers a data model where they can specify both temporal aspects of data and timing constraints on transactions as well as concurrency control mechanisms.
