Abstract

Nonlinear Mach-Zehnder Modulator and single mode fiber distort the transmitted signal. Their distortions were examined with VPIphotonics and the results of the two cases were compared with each other. It is important to know which element has higher effect to signal. Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing modulation was used because next generation optical network will use this modulation form.
