Abstract
The issue of organizational citizenship behavior are still a major subject studied in the field of organizational behavior because it is critical to the organizational effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior. The method used is explanatory survey. The subject of research is 100 employees of state-owned banks in Indonesia. The data analysis used is regression linear with the help of SPSS 23 for Windows program. The results showed significant influence of job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior. Employees’ job satisfaction can be assumed to be the main determinant of organizational citizenship behavior, because employees will give something back to the company that has treated them well. Employees tend to work as closely and as best as they can if they feel the job satisfaction, but if they feel uncomfortable and does not get the job satisfaction, they will not work maximally.
