The Investigation of Pre-service Teacher’s Critical-Thinking Skills and Dispositions in Project-based Learning

Abstract
The study aimed to investigation of pre-service teacher’s critical thinking skills and dispositions who taught by project-based learning model. The Ex Post Facto research with the qualitative descriptive approach was applied. The studied subjects were selected purposively; consist of 12 in the fifth semester of chemistry education program, University of Mataram. Critical thinking skills data was obtained through multiple-choice three-tier tests, whereas critical thinking disposition data was collected through critical thinking dispositions questionnaires. The result showed that 33.33% of subjects were categorized as High and 66.67% still in the low level of critical thinking skill category. In contrast, all subjects were categorized as positive for the level of critical thinking disposition.
