Abstract
Minimum Criterion Score Value (KKM) is an obligation for students to achieve, at their school. The aimed score correlates to how much motivation they have. Each student also has different motivation from another, depending on the standard and the targets into which the students put their motivation. In the same way, each of them has different future orientation relating to education, occupation, or marriage. This research aims to figure out the positive correlation between achievement motivation and the future orientation in education. This research uses correlational quantitative research design. The subject of research is 186 subjects by using incidental technique sampling. The process of statistic calculation uses Pearson correlation analysis with α 0,05. The result of this research which is obtained Pv ≤ α, 0,000 ≤ 0,05 which means H0 is refused and H1 accepted. Coefficient correlation is also 0,388 categorized low. The research concludes that there is a positive correlation between achievement motivation and the future orientation in education.
