Abstract
Based on the two-thousand-ton per day landfill leachate treatment process, a new system with energy recovery device was designed by using a hydraulic turbocharger to replace the circulation pump of the existing system. Energy consumption and equipment failure rate was decreased and system stability was improved by using hydraulic turbocharger. This study can provide a good reference for design and integration of energy recovery systems in landfill leachate treatment process.
