Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to discuss the welfare of the state in terms of aspects of economic growth that are implied in the division of labor. This paper is a qualitative research by narrating data descriptively. As the main source in this paper is the book Muqaddimah by Ibn Khaldun. The conclusion of this paper is that the welfare of the state is determined by the balance of state income and expenditure, as well as maximizing the production of a country, which has implications for the country's economic growth. State revenues and expenditures are determined by the economic activity of the community which is determined by the balance of prices. Balance is determined by demand, production costs, increase in tax rates, marginal propensity to consume, and hoarding by unscrupulous traders. Production maximization is carried out through expertise that focuses on day-to-day needs, office and army professions
