Abstract

Environmental problem issues that increasingly worrisome has become a central focus of all entire community, including educational institution. As a form of the University Social Responsibility (USR), Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) is committed to becoming a conservation university. This research methodology uses a qualitative method utilizing an in-depth interview. The research subjects were the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the University Conservation Development and the Group Conservation Unit. UNNES not fully implementing yet Environmental Management Accounting; only information about the use of electricity and paper has physical and monetary. Although there are several obstacles to implementing EMA, UNNES has applied to the movements and activities related to the environment. These environmental care movements have proven to produce cost efficiencies.
