Abstract
IOT has increasingly become part of people’s daily lives and is applied in an incredibly broad range of domains (transport, logistics, agriculture, etc…). Though initial applications of IOT did not take security into consideration, it has become an important field of research. This paper focuses on encryption algorithms evaluation using Contiki Cooja simulator. We mainly analyze the impact of the mode of operation, key length and blocks as we measure the number of clock ticks on sensor nodes.
